Jivamukti Yoga & Fermentation: Villa Arnica/Schwarzschmied
What to Expect
This Jivamukti Yoga retreat at Villa Arnica / Schwarzschmied invites you to consciously feel the ground beneath your feet again. In a time of constant acceleration and sensory overload, we create space for grounding, presence and genuine connection.
A Retreat for Nourishment, Grounding and Conscious Living
Grounding is the guiding thread of the retreat. In the mornings, we practise strong and precise Jivamukti Yoga, cultivating stability, clarity and inner alignment. Meditation and pranayama support a collected, centred mind and help you arrive fully in the body. In the evenings, Yin and Restorative Yoga guide you into deep relaxation, accompanied by poetry, nature-based texts and stories that touch and integrate.
Why Yoga and Fermentation belong together
Beyond the mat, we continue to connect with the earth. In the fermentation and cooking workshops, we work with vegetables, herbs and roots, sourced directly from the garden of Villa Arnica and the surrounding landscape. You will experience how nourishing it is to prepare food with your own hands. Together, we explore simple fermentation and pickling techniques that you can easily apply at home. The retreat concludes with a “from garden to table” cooking workshop and a shared dinner.
This retreat is an invitation to slow down together, to feel more deeply, to experience community and to root yourself sustainably. Look forward to strong and grounding practice, deep rest, wellness, honest connection, good music and truly delicious food.
Room prices are for shared double rooms, so for 2 people in total. If you wanna share and have no room buddy, let me know, and I can connect you.
Villa Arnica/Hotel Schwarzschmied
Villa Arnica feels like the summer house of a close friend, a place where airy freedom, natural beauty and nostalgic heirlooms come together. True to a historic house, no two rooms are alike. When you open the dark green shutters, you are greeted by views of vineyards, apple trees and palm trees, carefully tended vegetable, herb and flower gardens, and the shimmering blue pool. The yoga space is located in an old greenhouse, creating the feeling of having stepped into another time altogether.
Villa Arnica is part of Hotel Schwarzschmied, where the rooms are located, including a fabulous wellness area that can be used throughout the entire retreat.
